Abstract

The following lines are written after a year of work on Futbolred.com, one of the portals of the Casa Editorial El Tiempo, characterized by offering complete information related to national and international soccer. During my stay in this job, I did non-formal interviews, wrote field diaries and became aware of what is essential for this reflection process: the close relationship with the journalists of this newsroom. And I say that it is crucial to have had this closeness with the study subjects because, by sharing extensive work schedules, I was able to understand and get to know part of the professional work carried out by sports journalists and their work dynamics, which have their specifications, which it implies that the work practice is also unique within this branch of social communication.
