The project consisted of an applied research methodology, it was planted to perform on the problems of a current system and to make improvements to it. In the visualization implementing a monitoring system or Human Machine Interface (HMI), in which the state of a petroleum manifold can be visualized in real time, in the field called Cira Infantas de Ecopetrol SA, for this it is necessary to understand the work philosophy of an oil manifold, which is basically a tube separator or collector, is a combination of pipes, valves, flanges, manometers, among other industrial instruments, which serve to operate different fluids which come from sources of wells of production from an oil field. Then the support and measurement was carried out using industrial instruments and software to subsequently monitor it, this was done under a series of tests or factory acceptance tests; This system is used by the Cira Infantas Ecopetrol field, located in Barrancabermeja, it is a very useful system, due to the increasing discovery of new oil fields, a system is needed with which the state in permanent form of the oil well.
For the development of the project, the latest technology software that the company SEI LTDA uses on a daily basis in its activities, such as (iconics scheduleWorX32, RSLOGIX 5000 PLC, Redline), as well as calibration instruments such as the case of (Fluke725, hydraulic pump), configuration instruments (Hard 475, Siemens flow computer), as well as specialized measurement instruments for the Oil & Gas area, as in the case of the Pressure Indicator Transmitter (PIT), with which was carried out the measurement of the pressure of the pipeline, as well as Port Flowmeters, known as flow indicator transmitter (FIT), as well as Pressure Indicators (PI), an Rxlogix PLC by Allen Bradley was used; which acquires the information of the Measuring Instruments (Pit, Fit), from which we obtain the values of both pressure and flow in each of the arms or connections of the manifold, later it was made with these data of the measurements and alarms of protection for measuring instruments; A calibration of the instruments was established according to data provided by the Engineering Department of the Western Andes of Colombia (OXY).
4 alarms were established for each instrument which compose High High (HH) values. With a value of 3125 (PSI) in the pressure transmitters, another alarm of 3000 (PSI) of high pressure value, later 2 alarms for low pressure. one of 500 PSI for low (L) and another of 0 for low low (LL), This procedure was performed under the site acceptance test protocol (OSAT): Then a flow count was performed in the arms or connections of the manifold and its subsequent addition to obtain the total value of fluid circulating in the manifold, then the personal identification (IP) is assigned to the PLC, with this the necessary data was obtained to be able to send them through a communication system called Redline, in which were carried out acceptance tests on site (OSAT) to address the radio link to the repeater assigned by engineering in this case OXY4 SUR, then with the reception of this field information through the Ecopetrol network, proceeded to rea Using the Human Machine Interface (HMI) for viewing with the help of the scheduleWorX32 and communication (OPC) software. For monitoring, tests (SAT) were then carried out on site acceptance tests by ECOPETROLS.A AND OXY; it is verified that the system has the necessary security systems and complies with the quality standards ISO9001, ISO 14001, OSHAS18001.
