Resumen
The urban intervention project of the linear park is proposed with the objective of renewing and reactivating the existing spaces of the Pamplonita river park in the city of Cúcuta.
For the realization of the proposal were applied the theoretical guidelines of the concept of green corridors/linear parks, described by the English author Jack Ahern in his work Parks linear as a strategy of landscape planning: Theory and application, and are developed from urban analysis based on the methodology of Urban Analysis and Diagnosis for the Territorial Characterization of Architect Angelica Bernal.
Based on these guidelines, a general study of the river's linear park was carried out, based on the urban diagnosis of the sector and a characterization of the sectors was established, through which a specific sector was chosen and an urban proposal was developed at a general level, where a new land use is planned, and a reordering of the park's current spaces.
Subsequently, a division of 5 phases of the selected sector is made (according to its homogeneous characteristics) and a specific phase is chosen, in which a proposal is made at a detailed level, and they are projected: a line of the cycle network routes, pedestrians paths, public parking lots, green areas, rest areas, children's areas, small squares, outdoor theaters and sports venues (soccer and volleyball courts), as spaces for the integration of public space in the city. Within these spaces commercial modules in the form of islands, designed in bamboo, lightweight metal structure, and easy to build, designed for the sale of food, cafes, information modules, and park services in general will be screened.
