Resumen
The purpose of the research was to determine in the fourth-grade students of the San Viator Tunja school the impact generated by articulating the arts, religious education and mathematics in the reformulation of the concept of proportion. It responds to a problem identified in the results of the internal and external tests of the Institution in question, where the performance in mathematics is not the best, students do not recognize the elements and structures of the fraction as part of a whole and, the application in the solution of problems it was not of his interest due to the scarce application in the classroom, to its relation with other disciplines and to the socio-geographical context where the taste for mathematics is not the best. Methodologically it was a mixed study, because as time went by it became an attractive alternative to address research topics in the educational field. Aspects related to the impact of interdisciplinarity in the three mentioned areas were observed and analyzed from the quantitative and qualitative aspects. The research was carried out in three stages, high school, field work and, the analysis of information and results. Each discipline establishes workshops that are analyzed from the emerging variables and categories, subsequently the observed was triangulated and the results were stated. Parallel to this process, a reflection observation work was carried out from the teachers who participated in the research. Among the results it is emphasized that the interdisciplinarity of the areas, allows more dynamic, creative classroom environments that improve the link between the teacher and the students and, among themselves; the use of concrete material, typical of its environment, in the identification of concepts, makes a significant learning. Also, the classroom management from the assignment of roles, distribution of space, collaborative work, allows to assess individually and collectively, essential factors for the improvement of educational quality
