dc.description.abstract | Taking into account that Buenaventura is the most important port in the country, we decided to do an investigation about the problems that the city has in general, which we realized that the trigger is the lack of employment, which is why many more problems are unleashed such as the migration of families from rural areas to urban centers, informal settlements in palafitic areas, violence at the hands of criminal gangs (BACRIM), informal commerce and lack of education due to lack of training opportunities , among others, but it was for the latter, that we determined to provide the Bonaverense population with an architectural solution that mitigates in a percentage the unemployment rates through training in areas at the end of the city and on Cascajal Island so that they can aspire to work for their territory and the port that represents them. Therefore, our proposal is linked to the municipal development plan in which three (3) stages are proposed, of which the first consists of the development of the boardwalk of the island, a work that is already executed today, the second stage consists of a cultural space for the island, and the third stage would be the relocation of people who are in palafitic areas to give continuity to the development of the pier along the perimeter of the island. We adopted the second stage proposing the MARITIME AND PORT TRAINING CENTER in which we will develop our project, respecting the public and municipal policies where sports and cultural areas will be found for the entire population.
