Abstract

This document is the result of a research to find answers to three legal issues raised within a hypothetical case for the academic contest “” under the role of legal representation of victims, solving current problems in view of international criminal law, transitional justice and human rights. The legal representation of victims argument against 3 legal issues: Firstly, the existence of crimes against humanity its contextual elements and specific elements crimes of murder, deportation or forcible transfer of population, persecution and other inhumane acts and the jurisdiction of the court to know, secondly, the importance of the damage caused a population of Puerto Escondido and environment damage being integral parts of attack directed against civilian population element, thirdly, the forms of individual criminal responsibility attributable the major criminals and finally the petition.
