Resumen
The Santo Tomas University has important academic spaces for the development of Tomasinos students, in this way the laboratories are of great help for the implementation of scientific methodologies that facilitate the academic learning of the student, according to this in the hydraulics laboratory resides The prototype of river flow simulator that captures surface water bodies on a smaller scale, has also not been used due to lack of academic material that supports and guides experimental practices in the area of “Sanitary and Environmental” knowledge.
According to the aforementioned, academic material is required to help with the development of the topics proposed in the area, in this way laboratory guides will be implemented to facilitate the management of the prototype and clarify the themes of water bodies in the different spaces academics
In addition, with this academic material, it will help students to question the different characteristics of surface water bodies and to have a clearer idea of the behaviors of a water body in an open channel, through the prototype of river flow simulator at a lower scale, in this way the different investigations were taken as a guide as a basis for the development of academic material through the following methodology:

• Equipment and materials

• Report
• Bibliography
Therefore, it is intended to have as results the academic material with digital evidence for their respective development, through the results obtained it will be simulated through the HEC-RAS software, the practices that meet the variables to be analyzed in the program, taking into account account that the practices to be developed are the following:
• Initiation and characteristics of sediment drag.
• Stability channel
• Pipeline work demonstration
• Effects of changes at the base level
• Channeling response demonstration
• Demonstration of aggregate extraction
Finally, the results obtained will be left as evidence for the respective management of the river flow simulator prototype, with the academic and digital material as the basis for good management and demonstration of the themes for student academic development, in addition to the implementation of the simulation of the results using the HEC-RAS software.
