Resumen
This work aimed to minimize the risk factors of youth, students of schools of the locality
Rafael Uribe Uribe in Bogotá city, joining an illegal armed group, through the pilot
program Kak Satellite, built with the help of two people in the process of reintegration
that belonged to the United Self-Defense Forces of Colombia (AUC) and a former
member of a guerrilla group. This pilot was built in the framework of Restorative
Justice, Law 1424 of 2010 and Law 975 of 2005, in order to establish repair
contributions by former combatants from illegal armed groups, to contribute to building
peace in Colombia. The document contains three main themes that served as a guide:
Restorative Justice and Transitional Justice, risk factors for the forced recruitment of
boys, girls, youth and teen-agers by illegal armed groups and the relevant legal
framework for the prevention of recruitment in the international and national law. The
main objective was to design and evaluate the effectiveness of the pilot program Kak
Satellite, built from the aforementioned legal framework. This pilot program was
developed under the sort of quasi-experimental evaluation research, the pretest-posttest
design was participated by 22 young as ninth grade experimental and control group, all
students of the Restrepo Millán District Educational Institution. It was designed and
used a scale measuring arms fascination, admiration for violent behavioral models,
concept in favor of the war in Colombia, perception about dropouts, opinions about
domestic violence and impressions of poverty. After this investigation it is found that the
program Kak Satellite helped Restorative Justice, by the contributions of former
combatants and decreased the likely attitude of teen-agers to enter an illegal armed
group and / or organized crime.
