Resumen
The competitiveness of nations is measured in the amount of resources they provide to domestic industries, thus providing a series of strengths not only to compete in the international market, but also to achieve a dynamic and competitive national market compared to the products that come of the outside.
The railroad as a means of transport of intermodal connection and at the same time of full transport of cargo and passengers has demonstrated throughout history its clear influence on the industrialization of nations and their economic evolution, demonstrating that it is a necessary means for that the industry be fruitful, as well as for the economy to be dynamic and generate progress in the communities.
The Department of Meta, with its great agroindustrial potential, needs a safe and especially fast means of transport, due to the distances separating the productive and industrial centers. It then arises in response to this lack of connectivity by means of asphalted roads. as a means of transportation that lowers costs and is reliable to give Meta's products that competitiveness they lack.
The different success stories throughout history and the world make it possible to demonstrate how the railway has played and will play a key role in the economic progress of nations, as well as achieving a remarkable improvement in the quality of life of communities. which will exercise its activity, providing possibilities to distant communities in the country to compete with their products and eliminate the variable distance and high costs of national economic service.
