Resumen
The research shows the importance of sports administration in the sustainability of football training centers. The Caterpillar, Jaguares and Cantera Capitalina training centers in the city of Bogotá, Capital District were studied; and Atlético Chapinero, Arsenal and Pulse of the Soccer of the Municipality San José de Cúcuta, North Department of Santander. The research carried out was of a qualitative nature, through the study and analysis of documentary sources, the observation of the soccer training centers chosen for the study and the application of interviews to those responsible for those centers. It was determined that there are differentiated characteristics according to their geographical location, organizational system and management of economic resources, which determine their economic and sports growth. The soccer training centers that have the best performance are those that have an organizational structure, with specific roles and responsibilities, as well as adequate financial management. In the training centers located in the city of Bogotá, a better performance is observed in the areas of organizational structure, financing and institutional relations. In the training centers located in the city of Cúcuta, it can be observed that the efforts made to consolidate sports growth are not complemented by the strengthening of legal, organizational and economic aspects, which makes it difficult for them to consolidate in the medium and long term. An administrative model was proposed to serve as a reference for the organization and administrative management of football training centers, especially in terms of structure, selection of human talent and funding.
