Change as one of the issues inherent in the human being and that will continue to remain throughout all times, as an object of study, since optimal business management facilitates that all change processes are carried out satisfactorily, for all involved and in a relatively short period of time, for which managers must sharpen their potentials, such as supervising, teaching and disciplining employees, both in words and actions, so that companies become an attractive workplace , satisfactory and productive.In the first place, an approach to the object of study will be made, laying the conceptual foundations of the terms, change management as a key objective in business management and resistance to change, as a factor that must be mitigated in the organizations that undertake a merger or acquisition, fundamental terms that can configure the growth vector of a company and the non-existence of and barriers to its permanent expansion. Subsequently, some cases of companies that closed for various causes, including resistance to change, will be exposed and a structuring of factors will be presented, from the interviews with managers of companies that have overcome or are overcoming resistance to change, in organizations in merger or acquisition and finally, a model will be proposed to mitigate resistance to change, based on the analysis of the information consulted, the knowledge of some cases that closed due to resistance to change and the interviews that were carried out.
