Sentires populares: análisis de las expresiones populares contenidas en el género musical Bambuco en Colombia en el periodo de la Violencia (1945-1958)

Abstract

This monograph analyzes the popular expressions of the period of La Violencia that conditions the characteristics of the Bambuco in Colombia and frames it in a popular struggle in Colombia between the years of 1945 and 1958; reconstructing, understanding and analyzing the most important aspects from the qualitative analysis that focuses from sociology and sociomusicology, operating the concepts of popular, popular feeling and popular fight in the theoretical framework drawn from the theories of Hall and Gramsci. The results after searching for the bambucos registered in various repositories of the country were, to be able to describe the relationship of the classes from Hall's popular struggle, to understand sociologically the popular characteristic of bambuco and to propose a practical way of observing a musical genre relating musicology to sociology from Feld-based comparative sociomusicology.
