Abstract

This project will show the analyzes that were carried out in the road corridor in the area between Carrera 101 and Diagonal and Calle 71b and the factors that affect road accidents were established. The pathologies on the road, the current signaling, were analyzed, finding deficiencies in the state and in the same way it was found that the vehicular demand is high mainly in peak and valley hours, and consequently the road accident rates are increased. From this study it is also found that the times of the traffic light located to take 72nd street are inefficient and this is one of the main agents that cause the increase in accidents in this area. This study benefits all those people who are users of this area who reside and / or work in this area who have been affected by accidents that occur frequently.
