Fortalecimiento de la dimensión espiritual de las personas en situación de calle de la Fundación San Lorenzo Diácono

Abstract

The purpose of this research work is to assess the importance of the spiritual dimension in homeless people of the San Lorenzo Diacono Foundation located in the city of Buga, Valle del Cauca. The aim is to create meeting spaces that foster an open dialogue between the researcher and each of the homeless people who are part of the Foundation to recognize and value how they experience their spirituality from the context of their values, beliefs and lifestyles. , which means for the near future, proposing a pedagogical alternative from which this dimension can be strengthened and consolidated, taking as inspiration the pedagogy of the excluded, the abandoned, the discarded, promulgated by the Brazilian sociologist Paulo Freire. In this sense, the question that frames the research problem lies in investigating the importance of the spiritual dimension in the homeless inhabitants of the Fundación Hogar del Mendigo San Lorenzo Diácono from which a pedagogical proposal can be designed and implemented. that allows its strengthening.
