Resumen
The right to food from the point of view of institutionality, is considered as the possibility of having enough food in a permanent, free and regular way (UN, 1999), traditionally the guarantee of the right has been looked at from the perspective of security food as the only possibility of making it effective, however there is a contrast -from below- that opposes the financialization of food, the unjustified rise of these, and the limitation of access to adequate food. The commodification of the right to food has been fostered by food security, since to be seen as an economic, social and cultural right depends on the purchasing power of the person to be able to live without hunger.
From the line of food security have been working multilateral organizations which give guidance to countries according to diagnoses made annually, showing that there is a situation of food insecurity in the world and proposing solutions that countries must adopt in their laws , in spite of the fact that these guidelines continue to exacerbate the situation of hunger in the world and deepen the food crisis. Thus, what has been called "global wars for food" have arisen, caused by the dispute over hegemony and the control of the production and distribution of the agri-food market.
In Colombia, the right to food has been little addressed by the decision-making bodies, despite the fact that a large part of the country's population is in a state of food insecurity. In the face of this problematic situation in the food context, this work Research aims to show the state of recognition of food sovereignty in Colombian communities and evidence some bets from the territories that resist, within a model that promotes economic globalization and that does not take into account local and community needs.
