Resumen
The dissertation presents a reflection on the problem that arises when approaching the ways of knowing in a science discipline, such is the case of quantum mechanics in explaining the phenomenon of duality wave - particle; through modes of knowledge production presented by Gibbons et al (1997) found that mode 1 knowledge production refers to the numerical schemes in the study of a discipline and mode 2 knowledge production is a way of approach to scientific knowledge through the analysis of the phenomenon from its reality. In order to identify the context in which the phenomenon occurs, interpret and understand to find the different physical relationships that can be established in developing the perspective of science education.
In the development of the research problem, we worked with a qualitative methodology from the interpretive approach, using schemes knowledge production of Gibbons et al (1997), the formalization of a physical theory of Ayala and others (2008 ) and in turn the knowledge scheme proposed by Bautista (1998, 2016). These theoretical framework establish schemes allow knowledge to understand the approaches to the development of the phenomenon wave - particle duality in quantum mechanics.
The perspective assumed in the research developed in the doctoral thesis takes into consideration the modes of knowledge production proposed by Gibbons et al (1997) as the focus from the production of knowledge to address the understanding of phenomena of quantum mechanics, particularly the duality wave - particle and Science Education through the work of Eder and Adúriz (2001) who show a series of epistemological elaborations of experimental evidence aimed at schemes approach to scientific knowledge.
The methodology of the research was done from a literature review from the analysis of the phenomenon wave - particle duality through the use of qualitative methodology and the phenomenological approach, which allowed to locate in a particular context actions taken at work field and the application of tools that allow find categories of own development of production schemes focused on the phenomenon analyzed knowledge analysis.
According to the above, the analysis categories found understanding, formalization and contextualization of the phenomenon possible interpretation of the structures of analysis from the production mode 2 knowledge of participants in the development of research. In this regard, the commitments of knowledge that developed in the fieldwork in the doctoral thesis allowed participants to approach the development of scientific thought in an experiential way through contextualized reality in the phenomena studied.
Finally, the research developed in the doctoral thesis presents the importance of linking modes of knowledge production in explaining phenomena of nature, leading to the development of a scientific theory through contextualized situations that address issues structured to academic knowledge that you want to study.
