Abstract

The proposal that is developed through this architectural project seeks that by means of the design of a IV level Hospital in the city of Tunja, the lack of hospital infrastructure that the department of Boyacá presents is supplemented by not meeting the demand for care of public health according to law 100; Therefore, some design guidelines are proposed that respond to a character of modern hospital architecture that allows revitalizing the southern sector of the city to intervene, through a proposal for a hospital unit that contributes to integrated urban development having a departmental and also regional. The project proposal offers the academy a new vision of hospital architecture, giving rise to the implementation of new technologies, scientific research, the response to a modern style and fundamentally the relationship between the patient and the innovative infrastructure, providing spaces that respond to a functional, structural and volumetric component, that is to say, it speaks of a design that contributes to the recovery process of the patient, resulting in a complete equipment taking hospital architecture as a therapeutic element.
