Resumen
The present work shows the design of a protocol for the assessment and diagnosis of physical condition and biomechanical behavior for seated volleyball practitioners, this study was carried out on athletes belonging to the Colombia selection of seated volleyball (N = 6), for this purpose previously designed physical fitness tests such as the Bent Arm Hang, the Squat Jump Adapted to the Upper Body, the Shoulder Stretch, among others, all based on the Brockoport Physical Fitness Manual, the Flexitest, the FMS, were carried out. Scoring Criteria applied in people with disabilities, thus generating a proposal for standardization of assessment and diagnosis protocol that can be used in this adapted sports discipline; On the other hand, a study of the biomechanical behavior (including electromyography) of eight muscle groups (Trapezius, Middle Deltoids, Pectoralis Major, Latissimus Dorsi, Biceps, Triceps, Obliques, Serratus Major) and studies of reaction strength and shoulder and elbow during the execution of the different sitting volleyball techniques (Shot, Forearm Pass, Finger Pass, Serve, Block), and also all this accompanied by direct video records and 3D video records by segments for a better study and understanding of individual performance in each sporting gesture. The results obtained show that the tests designed in the protocol allow us to know not only the level of physical condition of each athlete, but also the muscular behavior at the time of execution of the technique and the biomechanical pattern of the upper body that is expressed throughout the cycle of each execution. What makes this protocol a proposal for a comprehensive evaluation of 2 each athlete that allows the performance of the seated volleyball practitioner to be enhanced or allows the initial condition and the progress of people with disabilities who want to join the practice of this sports discipline to be known. , for inclusive purposes.
