Resumen
The application of natural lighting strategies as an implication in the design that favors the rehabilitation process, and the management of color in spaces according to the psychology of color and its applicability from the architectural point of view, are the design aspects that have It was considered in the analysis for the design approach of a Physical Rehabilitation Center in the city of Bucaramanga Santander, developed in the present work.
Despite the fact that architecture is projected and built based on the need of human beings, design strategies that consider the influence of the physical environment on people's health are rarely valued, Churchill affirms that 'people give shape buildings and over time buildings shape people. ' Therefore, aspects such as light and color are determining factors in architectural design, since they directly influence people's mood, stimuli and feelings.
Therefore, for the analysis it was necessary to identify different types of natural lighting and color management in the spaces, typological references that specify knowing the physical-spatial requirements, identifying the user's profile, studying and selecting a property that conforms to the needs for the implementation and location of the equipment, and generate a design approach that integrates spaces with different strategies of light and color, and that takes into account the principles of universal design.
A horizontal volumetric proposal is generated on two levels, which distributes the consultation and therapy areas; and that in turn allows to develop different direct and indirect natural lighting strategies, through the management of voids, skylights, skylights, and elements of solar protection that require spatial quality in rehabilitation environments. On the other hand, the implementation of color in the project spaces is managed according to the relationship between the psychology of color and the function that each space of the architectural program fulfills.
