Resumen
The present doctoral research dealt with the identities of the teacher as a central category, conceived as a dynamic and progressive aspect that strengthens the teacher's passion for the exercise of their profession. According to the development of the research, the theoretical framework was assumed, from three perspectives of the teacher's work that accentuates the personal factors in the construction of their identities: that of the teacher's work as a trade, the conception of the interiority of the teacher. teacher as an educational paradigm and the idea of the passionate teacher.
From the methodological perspective, the research was established from the qualitative paradigm, the hermeneutical-interpretive approach and the biographicalnarrative method, through the reconstruction of the identity trajectories of some teachers from the town of Ciudad Bolívar (Bogotá). The fundamental objective was to understand the components of the teacher's identities that allow him to strengthen the commitment and action in the teaching profession, in this way those personal factors that influence the structuring of their identities were identified, analyzing and interpreting them, with the intention of favor educational action, which made it possible to understand and establish administrative and pedagogical actions aimed at promoting and strengthening said identities, in response to the identity crisis and ignorance of the teacher in today's society.
