The purpose of the project is to strengthen the level of communicative reading and writing skills in 7th grade students at the Agricultural Educational Institution of Mina Cesar, making use of the blog. The objective is to strengthen the processes of communicative competences, using as a didactic tool the use of the blog, within the pedagogical task of teaching-learning, taking advantage of the technological resources offered by Internet access, the generation and production of texts, in such a way that the construction of knowledge linking an adequate formation of reading and writing, which allows the students of grade 7 in the Agricultural Educational Institution of La Mina - Cesar, to obtain skills in reading comprehension, as well as the appropriate skill in writing texts, based on an adequate writing; All of this is directed within the transversality of the subjects, which leads to the conclusion that an improvement in academic performance is possible, since the use of computer equipment is positively taken advantage of for their intellectual formation. In the present grade project it was possible to evaluate the perception of the level of reading competence in the 7th grade students in the Agricultural Educational Institution La mina of the municipality of Valledupar - Cesar. This was achieved thanks to the interaction of some theories related to reading comprehension and the methodological application of the guidelines of the interpretative approach called qualitative, within which we worked with the type of descriptive research and analytical methods, synthetic and inductive and the application of a perception survey.
