With the aim of determining the relationship between Culture and motivation in a factory of production of soles in the city of Bucaramanga, this research work is carried out, within which one inquires whether the organizational culture present in the organization influences the motivation of employees and therefore in the performance of their activities. To achieve this goal, the general objective is set: Analyze the relationship that exists between the organizational culture and the motivation of the employees of the Emsucol factory in the city of Bucaramanga. Why, Cameroon and Quinn (1999) and Schein (1985). Regarding work motivation, the starting point is Maslow's theory of needs, Frederick Herzberg's theory of factors (1966) and McClelland's theory of satisfaction of needs (1961). Taking into account the aforementioned models, the organizational culture survey presented by the authors Cameron and Quinn (1999) (Annex A) is applied in order to identify the type of organizational culture present in the factory, on the other hand, with respect to to the work motivation a self-constructed survey is applied (Annex B) in order to identify the existing relationship between the variables under study. The surveys were applied to a sample of 19 employees, corresponding to 95% of the workers. The analysis of the surveys allows to establish the factory has a hierarchical organizational culture, according to the model proposed by Cameron and Quinn (1999), in this culture control is a key issue in the achievement of objectives as well as compliance In turn, with the motivation survey, it is possible to point out the different factors that make up the levels of organizational culture according to Schein (1985). Based on what was identified and analyzed in the surveys, it is found that the organizational culture present in the factory influences the motivation of the employees, therefore, it affects both the behavior and the job satisfaction of the workers.
