Resumen
Entrepreneurship has managed to position itself within government agendas in its aspiration to generate alternatives for social and economic progress. In the local case, the demand to promote regulations that create its link to the educational field has supported the promulgation of laws such as 1014 of 2006 "Promoting the culture of entrepreneurship", in addition to the recent 2069 of 2020 that "Promotes entrepreneurship in Colombia”. Its interference in education has placed it within the framework of high school education, visualizing itself as a standard-bearing level of training on the subject. In this scenario, teachers are directly responsible for generating entrepreneurial ideas, a task that constitutes a challenge considering the various limitations in the field of training, motivation and support, which support them in their practice. Within the processes of articulation of high school education with university education, a link is established between schools-companies and entrepreneurship, which forges a new compendium of needs that teachers must face.
The disciplinary training of the educators in charge of the subject in the institutions, focuses on careers in economics, engineering or administration, a situation that reveals a lack of its approach from the bachelor's degrees and in the training programs for teachers, deepening gaps that increase the challenge of taking on this subject in schools. Hence, this qualitative study characterizes the practices of entrepreneurship teachers who currently work in technical and academic high school education, achieves an approach to their profile, configures an analysis of the conception of the subject in the schools and advances a contrast between technical and academic schools. All this with the aim of presenting a teacher training proposal that responds to the needs evidenced in the findings of this investigation.
