Resumen
The main objective of this project is to analyze the impact on the water quality of the seven laps of the municipality of Villavicencio by wastewater discharges, taking into account resolution 631 of 2015 of the Ministry of Environment and Sustainable Development (MADS) where they are classified as Domestic Wastewater (ARD), Non-Domestic Wastewater (ARnD), a cause of the environmental problem presented to the municipal comptroller of Villavicencio by the environmental oversight of the commune 8 of the previous municipality; The study area is recognized by identifying each of the points where there is a presence of wastewater discharges compared to the previous information granted by Cormacarena where the amount of discharges and their respective environmental permit is determined.
Likewise, in-situ and ex-situ monitoring was carried out at different parameters such as: temperature, flow, conductivity, PH, hardness, alkalinity, turbidity, total suspended solids, nitrates, phosphorus, dissolved oxygen, biochemical oxygen demand (BOD5), fecal and total coliforms, the interpretation of these physical, chemical and microbiological data was carried out through the use of “ICA” water quality indices and “ICO's” contamination indices such as the mineralization contamination index (ICOMI), organic matter contamination index (ICOMO), suspended solids contamination index (ICOSUS), temperature contamination index (ICOTEMP) and pH contamination index (ICOpH), in the water and microbiology laboratory of the Santo Tomas University Villavicencio headquarters clear water campus, the high and low rainfall climatic conditions were taken into account in the first half of the year 2019, recognizing the characteristics of the water discharged into the pipe seven laps, determining the type of discharge through resolution 631 of 2015 of the Ministry of Environment and Sustainable Development ( MADS), the affectation on the receiving body by means of water quality indicators (ICA) and pollution indexes (ICO) and the degree of contamination affectation present in the pipe seven laps.
In order to consolidate all the information collected which will be input for the preparation of the annual environmental report presented by the municipal comptroller of Villavicencio and provide answers for the current situation of the Caño microbasin seven laps to the environmental oversight of the commune 8 of Villavicencio.
