Abstract

Introduction: The American Board of Orthodontics (ABO) provides an index that allows the evaluation of models and radiographs. of the Santo Tomás University clinics to observe the final cases and make a descriptive evolution. Objective: To evaluate the cases completed at Santo Tomás University within the specialty of orthodontics with the Radiographic Evaluation (CRE) of the American Board of Orthodontics (ABO). Materials and Methods: Descriptive, cross-sectional study. The population of study models and panoramic radiographs, has been made an instrument based on the procedure of evaluation of the relevant criteria by the ABO. The information will be collected and, in turn, digitized independently, for example, in Excel databases created for that purpose. Then, these are valid in the free Epidata 3.1 software and the possible typing errors will be corrected. When the two bases are totally equal, once they are exported to the statistical software Stata 14,0 for analysis. Results: 45.82% of the cases after CRD of the ABO, the biariables that the most inflicted are the buccal and the marginal margins, and the minors, the interproximals and the sheep. Conclusions: Of the 24 cases evaluated, 45.8% approved the CRE of the ABO. The variables with the highest score were the buccolingual inclination and the marginal ridges. The variables with the lowest score. No relationship between sex and the final result has been found.
