Zonificación y recomendaciones de intervención a tramo vial deteriorado aplicando herramientas SIG

Abstract

The maintenance and rehabilitation of the pavements is oriented to activities of obligatory constancy to preserve the structure of the roads. The preservation of pavements is defined as a series of interventions aimed at protecting the structure from external agents, by means of economic treatments that allow the deterioration to be delayed, lengthening the useful life of the road and improving its performance without affecting the level of service. The purpose of this document is to obtain a theoretical compilation of the asphalt and the pathologies of a flexible pavement for the categorization of damages according to the manuals applied in Bogotá, thus evaluating the behavior under a hypothetical-deductive analysis of the incorporation, modification or resurfacing of the asphalt mixture with additives in a studied road section, in order to determine the additive with the highest viability according to the type of damage and the required intervention method. The final objective of this project was to build a spatial database (GIS) in which the information collected was systematized and schematized in a clear and concise manner.
