Proceso salud – enfermedad en la comunidad indígena Arhuaca, pueblo Bello- Cesar resguardo de Businchama, Colombia, 2019

Abstract

La comunidad indígena Arhuaca habita en la sierra nevada de Santa Marta y sus alrededores. En Pueblo bello cesar, se estima puntos de cantidad población indígena Arhuaca, es un punto importante de concentración de población Arhuaca; estos llevan sus procesos de salud a donde el llamado ‘mamo’ él es el quien ordena sus aguas, medicinas tradicionales y naturales. El propósito de esta investigación está orientado a comprender el proceso salud-enfermedad de la comunidad indígena Arhuaca del resguardo Businchama. Respecto a la metodología de investigación utilizada, es de naturaleza interpretativa, apoyada de un paradigma cualitativo utilizando el método etnográfico, la investigación estará relacionado con el desarrollo de cada objetivo para así poder conocer el proceso- salud enfermedad de esta comunidad. El instrumento utilizado en esta investigación fue una entrevista, la cual fue respondida por los informantes clave, que abarcaron lo más importante del proceso- salud enfermedad, ya que estos tienes sus propias tradiciones. En este proyecto de investigación se investigó la percepción salud y enfermedad en todas sus dimensiones. La comunidad también expreso la importancia de cuidar y fortalecer cada día su relación con la madre tierra y con su Dios creador Kakaserawua. Ya que si la madre tierra enferma ellos también lo harán pues el estado de salud de esta se ve reflejado en ellos.

The Arhuaca indigenous community lives in the Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta and its surroundings. In Pueblo bello cesar, it is estimated that there are many Arhuaca indigenous population points, it is an important point of concentration for the Arhuaca population; They take their health processes to where the so-called "mammo" is the one who orders their waters, traditional and natural medicines. The purpose of this research is oriented to understand the health-disease process of the Arhuaca indigenous community of the Businchama reservation. Regarding the research methodology used, it is interpretive in nature, supported by a qualitative paradigm using the ethnographic method, the research will be related to the development of each objective in order to know the disease-health process of this community. The instrument used in this research was an interview, which was answered by the key informants, who covered the most important aspects of the health-disease process, since they have their own traditions. In this research project, the perception of health and disease in all its dimensions was investigated. The community also expressed the importance of caring for and strengthening their relationship with Mother Earth and with their creator God Kakaserawua every day. Because if the mother earth falls ill they will also do it because the state of health of this is reflected in them.
