Indicaciones para la preparación de arteriografía cerebral de los pacientes atendidos en el servicio de radiología del Hospital de San José: un estudio descriptivo

Abstract

Objetivo: Describir las recomendaciones de preparación de los pacientes para el procedimiento ambulatorio de radiología (Arteriografía Cerebral) en consulta externa y verificar la presencia o no de cancelaciones en el servicio y sus causas. Método: Estudio descriptivo en el cual se abarcaron dos fases, diagnóstico del estado actual del servicio de radiología, la cantidad de arteriografías realizadas, la presencia o no de herramientas educativas de procedimientos y en la segunda fase se tuvo en cuenta la propuesta de Sasso, Campos y Galvão donde se llevaron a cabo las búsquedas en diferentes bases datos, se organizó la información a partir de la elaboración de tablas de evidencias. Se tuvo en cuenta La Resolución 8430 de 1993 y La Ley 44 de 1993. Resultados: Se reunió información acerca de las causas de cancelaciones en el servicio de radiología, por los seguimientos mensuales, se evidenció que las cancelaciones por causa en este servicio en el año 2016 fueron 4, y en el 217 fueron 8 ,no se cuenta con información que demuestre que las cancelaciones fueron por mala preparación. Al momento de evaluar el material educativo se evidenció que el folleto contaba con lenguaje y contenido incomprensible, no cuenta con imágenes llamativas ni comprensibles sobre el procedimiento. La búsqueda inicial arrojó 151.176 artículos, que se redujo a 17 los cumplieron los criterios establecidos en la lectura crítica; encontrados en su mayoría revisiones sistemáticas. Conclusiones: se presentó una limitaciòn importante en la búsqueda de datos e información ya que no se cuenta con los elementos necesarios para una adecuada investigación con los más altos niveles de evidencia; asimismo en el campo de enfermería es de interés realizar más estudios que aporten a la evidencia científica de dicho procedimiento. At the time of evaluating the educational material it was evidenced that the booklet had incomprehensible language and content, does not have striking or comprehensible images about the procedure. The initial search yielded 151,176 articles, which were reduced to 17, meeting the criteria established in the critical reading; found mostly systematic reviews. Conclusions: there was an important limitation in the search of data and information since it does not have the necessary elements for an adequate investigation with the highest levels of evidence; also in the nursing field it is of interest to carry out more studies that contribute to the scientific evidence of said procedure.
