dc.description.abstractIn spite of the existance of rehabilitation protocols designed to restore the functional capacity of the hands, special unfortunate factors in the Colombian context, whereas geographical, social, political or economical, restrict the access to specialized treatment in health institutions. This situation is specially critical for people with a condition of geographic vulnerability that have suffered an injury in hands, since the access to specialize treatment such as rehabilitation procedures, which take several sessions and demand commitment and consistency from the patient, is even more difficult. For this reason, a novel hand rehabilitation system integrable to teleoperated architectures is proposed, that seeks to overcome the accessibility barriers and widen the reach of the specialist of physical therapy
