dc.description.abstract | ICTs tools have been taking over education due to their positive impact. English as foreign language classes has ICTs incorporation as a requirement due to the essential approach to the language context and cultures they offer. In this research, the teaching planning and contents from the Way to go! 6th-grade student’s book were taken to be enhanced into ICTs stances. It determined the extent to which ICTs can potentiate the teaching-learning experience in the students at a public school located in the city of Cali. It was developed in six moments and it included activities and specific online platform materials. In addition, a placement test and a
post-test were applied to be able to assess the previous knowledge of the participants and the learning results after the applications of the didactic sequence respectively. The results of the data analysis show how pertinent ICTs tools are to enriching the students’ English language communicative skills. It was concluded that incorporating ICTs to transform the teaching learning experience offered by the Way to go! 6th-grade student’s book can positively impact the process of acquisition of English as a foreign language. | |
