Centro de Usme: tránsitos simbólicos entre el aquí y el allá Estudio de la producción y representación del espacio en términos de sentido local e identidad

Abstract

En este trabajo se analizaron los tránsitos simbólicos que realizan los habitantes del centro de Usme entre el aquí y el allá, a partir de la relación que tiene la población entre el Centro de Usme y Bogotá, y el centro barrial y de comercio de la localidad. Se atribuirá la observación de la ciudad como un texto soportado por los autores: Lefebvre (2003), Paul Ricoeur (1998), García Canclini (2005) y Edward Hall (2003). Para el estudio de la espacialidad del Centro de Usme a través de la observación de los tránsitos, será necesario examinar los códigos expresados en dicho lugar a partir de la mirada del investigador, con el fin de observar de primera mano cómo los habitantes producen un sentido local e identitario con el Centro de Usme y su relación con el allá lejano al lugar. Asimismo, distinguir la configuración del espacio, producido y representado, por parte de las personas que habitan el lugar a partir del tiempo, las narrativas y la materialidad en términos de sentido, producción y representación del espacio que habitan y transitan. Esto conforma el segundo objetivo de este trabajo y se desarrollará a partir de la mirada de 2 familias, 2 comerciantes y 3 transeúntes del centro de Usme. Por último, se interpretará los códigos expresados en la espacialidad bajo la confluencia de las dos miradas con el propósito de exponer las valoraciones que se tengan sobre la existencia del espacio como elemento condicionante de prácticas y dinámicas colectivas dentro del Centro de Usme como un aquí propio en su relación con un allá (periferia)., y como ello permite dar sentido de identidad, pertenencia y significados colectivos en función de la representación y producción del espacio físico y social del lugar de estudio

In this paper, the symbolic transits that the inhabitants of the center of Usme make between here and there, based on the relationship that the population has between the Center of Usme and Bogotá, and the neighborhood and commercial center of the town. Likewise, distinguish the configuration of the space, produced and represented, by the people who inhabit the place from time, narratives and materiality in terms of meaning, production and representation of the space they inhabit and transit. This forms the second objective of this work and will be developed from the gaze of 2 families, 2 merchants and 3 passers-by from the center of Usme. Finally, the codes expressed in spatiality will be interpreted under the confluence of the two views in order to expose the assessments that are about the existence of space as a conditioning element of collective practices and dynamics within the Usme Center as a here of its own in its relationship with a there (periphery), and how it allows giving a sense of identity, belonging and collective meanings based on the representation and production of the physical and social space of the place of study
