Revitalización del canal Río Arzobispo

Abstract

Mediante la revitalización del canal rio arzobispo se pretende impulsar, desarrollar e integrar el tejido urbano de Bogotá junto con la estructura ecológica principal de Cundinamarca y Bogotá. Esto mediante cuatro deberes de la arquitectura que surgen de un análisis profundo de carencias y oportunidades que ofrece la zona a baja y gran escala. Se propone un Parque Humedal en lineal que limpie y amortigüe el agua, genere conexiones interbarriales a escala vehicular con enfoque peatonal (tomando colegios, hitos y equipamientos como punto de partida), junto con el aprovechamiento de lotes baldíos y áreas desaprovechadas circundantes al canal para finalmente crear concientización y apropiación del canal ensanchando y revitalizando su estructura ecológica.

The revitalization of the Arzobispo River canal aims the development and integration between the urban structure of Bogotá and the main ecological structure of Cundinamarca and Bogotá. All this through four duties of architecture that arise from an in-depth analysis of the shortcomings and opportunities offered by the area in a small and large architecture scale. A linear Wetland Park is proposed that cleans and cushions the water, looking for inter-neighborhood connections on a vehicular scale with a pedestrian priority (taking schools, landmarks and some architectural facilities as a starting point), taking into account several unused areas surrounding to finally create a social awareness and appropriation of the canal by widening and revitalizing its ecological structure.
