This project, located in the "Puente Aranda" neighborhood, was geared towards changing the way people interacted with nature the natural elements always present in their environment. After multiple visits, what stood out the most of this place was this rich of life green corridor they had dividing the neighborhood in half and how it seemed like all the buildings were giving their backs to it. Places likes parks, school and markets had no connection towards it and as a result, the neighborhood seemed to be divided in half. With this project, I wanted to create a living solution that densified population in the vertical while giving the first floor of this residential buildings the space to walk around the neighborhood, create community life and also the possibility to build businesses in the future. Also, I proposed a new shape and orientation for the school and intervened the canal in an attempt to make the people of Puente Aranda, notice on their everyday life the canal and begin to incorporate life around it to their everyday life. Finally, I wanted to continue with the architectural languages currently present in the neighborhood and apply typologies combining what I saw and the referents imposed by Profesor Phillip Weiss while working on the project
