Throughout the paper the main domains of the Canadian Grenville Province: The Central Gneiss Belt, Central Metasedimentary Belt and Grenville Front Tectonic Zone are described to analyse and correlate the local geology with the gravity and magnetic signature of this zone. The zone where the study was principally conducted was the northern part of the Grenville Province in Ontario, Canada. Geophysical modelling of gravity and magnetic data on the Grenville Front in Ontario was conducted. The objective was to determine how the different domains interact north of the Grenville Front, namely the old, predisposed rocks of the Southern/Superior provinces and the rocks formed as a result of the Grenvillian Orogeny, the Grenville Province domains. Three transects were modelled; the geomagnetic constants, the values of magnetic susceptibility, the densities and the insights provided by previous research were included. The study concluded in the three sections analysed that this contact behaves as a regional thrust of the Grenville Province domains over the domains located in the northern zone of the Grenville Front.
