dc.description.abstractLa situación actual del maltrato animal con respecto al nuevo código de policía, con el fin concienciar a la comunidad pereirana y, en general a la sociedad, acerca del respeto que se le deben tener a los animales, concretamente los perros, así como el cuidado que les asiste y los castigos que debe recibir todo aquel que maltrate o asesine una mascota. Abstract: The current situation of animal abuse with respect to the new police code, in order to raise awareness among the Pereira community and, in general, society, about the respect that should be given to animals, specifically dogs, as well as the care who assists them and the punishments that should be received by anyone who mistreats or murders a pet.
