| dc.description.abstract | Este texto aborda uno de las grandes realidades en nuestras ciudades como es el asentamiento informal en nuestras laderas: Los impactos surgidos por asentamientos informales en áreas periféricas de Pereira de difícil urbanización que transforman el medio eco sistémico y desestabilizan el equilibrio natural, induce a desastres naturales y a otros problemas de la ciudad. Problemas inherentes a la gran cantidad de inmigrantes pobres que se ubican en terrenos marginales y de ladera, donde, además, no se lleva a cabo una adecuada planificación urbana, generando asentamientos sin un sistema de espacio público que les brinde soporte integración social y espacial con el resto de la ciudad.
