Abstract

A lo largo de esta revista se puede observar las diferentes vivencias que debe afrontar un cortero de caña, su importancia en la economía del Valle del Cauca, las problemáticas que conlleva desarrollar su trabajo, en especial en las áreas de la salud y cómo este trabajo se ha vuelto parte fundamental de la cultura y tradición del departamento, heredado de generación en generación y aceptado con tanta naturalidad que se ha desatendido por parte de las empresas que requieren de él y por las entidades de salud del departamento. El objetivo principal de este trabajo es poder visibilizar esta labor y llamar la atención de todas aquellas entidades para mejorar desde las áreas de salud ocupacional y medicina general las condiciones laborales./ Abstrarct: Throughout this magazine you can see the different experiences that a cane cutter must face, its importance in the economy of Valle del Cauca, the problems involved in developing their work, especially in the areas of health and how this work It has become a fundamental part of the culture and tradition of the department.
