For this investigation was to determine what type of relationship and what level of statistical significance of the product manufacturing to GDP growth department, and the rate of employment growth in the same sector in the Department of Risaralda during the period 1980 to 2007. To do this, they proposed the "Law" by Nicholas Kaldor (1956). More concretely, it focuses interest in conducting an empirical evidence to verify the first two "laws" kaldorianas in the manufacturing department. For this purpose econometric analysis is performed by the method of Ordinary Least Squares (OLS), as well as a descriptive exploration of the behavior of the variables in the period, through the mapping.
