Diversificación de artesanías elaboradas en telar horizontal caso: Vereda el Guayabo, Marsella-Rda.

Abstract

Applying Industrial Design technics and skills in community benefit, the author shows a project called “Diversification of handcrafted products made by residents of El Guayabo, town of Marsella, department of Risaralda”, place where typic products have been represented an economic and cultural activity as important as agriculture since medium eighties, when handcrafted products came to the region. Through Participative observation technics, it have been establish that is necessary to reactivate their products through the implementation of new materials and the optimization of the resources offered by traditional technics.
