Resumen
The educational praxis considers on its infinity not only the academic aspect but also the systematic reflection about the agreement between the human dimensions and learning; in the interests of thinking in a comprehensive education for children. If educate is one of the tasks of the school, it will be necessary the attendance of children to this place. In order to make this possible, the learning motivation and the academic achievement are implicit categories in this formative function. The following hermeneutic qualitative research allowed finds the perceptions about the learning motivation and the academic achievement in fifth grade students of the educational institution in San Fernando Cuba in Pereira city
