Abstract

This document aims to investigate the importance of Project Finance in renewable energy and the reasons that have led green bonds becoming an important tool for this leverage. In addition, the issuance of green bonds will be reviewed in relation to the type of issuer, the currency, the amount and the country of issuance, and a comparison with the traditional financing through Corporate Finance will be made.
