This document proposes an interpretative analysis of the piece Interlude No. 1 for solo violin by the composer Rodolfo Ledesma under the approach called "interpreter analysis" proposed by author John Rink and a continuous dialogue with the composer. From this conceptual base, a formal and a contextual analysis was generated through the application of a series of technical and interpretive tools. This work seeks to disseminate the musical work of Ledesma, as it has not been formally studied or analyzed, even though it offers a great interpretive experience for the performer. Likewise, it is committed to recognize and spread the contemporary repertoire for violin in the Valle del Cauca starting from the important contribution of this composer.
