Abstract

This article tries to reconstruct the normative approach of John Rawls about the war, from his conceptions of a non-ideal theory of justice and law of peoples -- The reconstruction includes the criteria to wage and conduct the war, and the debate about some usual attitudes to face it -- Here is remarkable that Rawls accept the tradition of just war theory and, specially, his way to insert it in a moral and historical situation of extreme limitation of war

En este artículo se intenta reconstruir el enfoque normativo de John Rawls sobre la guerra, a partir de sus concepciones de la teoría no ideal de la justicia y del derecho de gentes -- Esta reconstrucción incluye los criterios para ir a la guerra y para dirigirla, así como la discusión sobre algunas actitudes frecuentes ante ella -- Se destaca la forma en que Rawls acepta la tradición teórica de la guerra justa y la inscribe en la situación histórica y moral en que la guerra debe limitarse al máximo
