dc.description.abstractThe public problem in the analysis of public policy design is an important phase in its construction, therefore, its definition tends to be relevant for public policy makers. This paper aims to open a discussion on the dimensions of the public problem, its relevance in the definition and its possible implications for the effectiveness or otherwise of the execution of the public policy it seeks to address. Starting from the analysis on coexistence, in the security and coexistence policy of the city of Medellín in the light of the viewpoint of Public Health, especially mental health.
