dc.description.abstractHolding S.A. is a leader in the financial sector -- It has been characterized by its dynamic nature in the implementation of best practices and strategies that guarantee its permanent leadership -- Even before the present economic crisis, the company had taken on a new rationale in relation to the management of resources destined to these efforts. Moreover, Holding S.A. decided to initiate a gradual introduction to project management through design and implementation of a maturity model -- The first step taken by Holding S.A. was to search for a more compatible method to manage projects at the company, selecting the standard of project management: PMBOK 2004 by PMI -- Thereafter, the company accomplished the diagnosis of the maturity level that they had according to that standard, selecting and adjusting the maturity model PMMM 2002 by J Kent CRAWFORD -- Next, the company defined how their projects would be managed in the future and began selecting goals by maturity level that allow them to achieve their desired future -- Finally, utilizing the Project software, the timing to achieve the goals was set, considering the restrictions between them and the priorities of the company
