Propuesta de diseño de una Oficina de Proyectos (PMO) para la Corporación Autónoma Regional de Risaralda (CARDER)

Abstract

At the Corporación Autónoma Regional de Risaralda (CARDER) in the Project Management process some weaknesses have been identified, due mainly because those projects are developed in an empirical way, according to the knowledge and preferences of the leaders and in many cases, they are done without respecting the standardized practices, what it translates in over costs, reprocessing and nonsuccessful projects -- In the present document, through the application of the Maturity Model of Project Management OPM3, was established the CARDER’s Maturity Level in Project Management and based on this result was possible to select the type of PMO more suitable according to the characteristics of the organization and to meet institutional needs -- For this, was designed a PMO that adjusted to the CARDER’s reality and based on the guidelines of the Project Management Institute (PMI), will allow an improvement on the Corporation Project Management
