dc.description.abstractThe project presents the integration of methodologies such as Business Process Management (BPM) and Product Life Cycle Management (PLM) to propose a model that allows standardizing the design of small wind turbines -- To do this, a relationship is established between the process management methodologies applying the management chains where the process flow design and the product life cycle management are shown, showing the life cycle and flow design in addition to the application of CAD, CAE and CAM tools -- To achieve this objective, ARIS Express software for the development of process flows and ARAS Innovator for the development of life cycles and workflows is applied -- The Aris Express software application shows the design of two processes, the first the study of the place and the second, the design of the small wind turbine -- For the construction of the model, design methodologies published in the journal and in some books where the design of small wind turbines are presented, or the analysis of these, but a model is not proposed where the management of the processes is integrated in a collaborative way and the management of the life cycle in a way that allows to establish a standardization in the design process of small wind turbines -- The construction of the model was applied in a case study that shows the integration in a collaborative way of the Process Management and the Product Life Cycle Management and the application of the engineering tools from small wind turbines development
