| dc.description | Discute-se no início o que seria inclusão social, questionando a tendência de reduzir inclusão social à inclusão marginal. O pobre é acomodado dentro do sistema, mas em sua margem. Esta é a tendência predominante na política social neoliberal. A seguir, discute-se a discriminação digital, em particular aquela agravada pela escola pública. De um lado, analisa-se a exclusão dos alunos mais pobres, mas, que são incluídos na margem, tendo em vista que as novas tecnologias penetram todas as partes do sistema. De outro, analisa-se a exclusão mais ampla alimentada pela escola que não sabe ler a realidade digital e por isso não forma os alunos nesta habilidade. O analfabetismo digital é visto como possivelmente o pior de todos os analfabetismos. | dc.description | This paper starts out by discussing what social inclusion could be, with the purpose of arguing about the tendency to reduce social inclusion to marginal inclusion. The poor is accommodated to the system, but in its margin. This is the prevailing tendency in neo-liberal social politics. Then, digital discrimination is discussed, especially the one aggravated by public school. On one hand, exclusion of poorer students is analyzed. They are included in the margin, having in mind that the new technologies have spread into every part of the system. On the other hand, a wider exclusion is analyzed which is nourished by the school that does not know how to read digital reality and, therefore, no degree is granted on this subject matter. Digital illiteracy is possibly considered as the worst of illiteracies. Digital inclusion has to include ability of the excluded ones to control his inclusion. | |
