Cooperación internacional y desarrollo. Una mirada al índice de desarrollo humano: Caso Bojayá 2008-2012

Abstract

The management of territorial development has acquired a global dimension -- Until the age of 80's of the 20th century, the level of development was measured according to the rates of economic development -- However, the UNDP United Nations development programme proposed to measure the level of development, not only on the basis of economic development, but also taking into account health and education indicators -- (UNDP, 2014) -- Colombia has sought through international cooperation to raise the rates of development of their territory -- Therefore international cooperation agencies today play an important role as actors of development in Colombia -- Unfortunately, control and follow-up of these resources are weak -- Information about the resources invested is not clearly manifesting itself in administrative malpractices and almost non-existent governance -- The Department of Chocó is no stranger to this situation -- The case of the municipality of Bojayá (Chocó), allows you to take a look at the relationship between development and international cooperation -- You may 2002, marks a moment of transcendental income resources of international cooperation and the municipality of Bojayá once this was the scene of a massacre -- We have been attending for more than one decade to international cooperation and the municipality of Bojayá Choco money-income by more than $250 million -- Unfortunately, the human development indices after 10 years are not very positive -- This document aims to initially, addressing the dimensions of human development, then take a look at the incidence of cooperation resources that have joined to the municipality of Bojayá in the index of human development and their dimensions
