Modelo de análisis financiero de los programas de permanencia en la Universidad Tecnológica de Pereira

Abstract

The academic desertion is one of the main problems that higher education is facing nowadays in Colombia that not only affects individuals who stopped studying but also the society -- The Tecnológica University of Pereira city, UTP, in agreement with its institutional mission has included in its development plan, continuity programs which plan a successful graduate of its students -- The continuity programs at UTP do not have a current define structure of costs, but it is valuable to identify them to work on a Financial analysis model which determines the relation between the programs costs and the costs concerning to the academic desertion -- During the Financial analysis model development were recognized variables associated to the continuity programs, a costs infrastructure was designed and an analysis on the phenomenon of academic desertion was carried out to determine its costs
